Wie immer gibt es auch an diesem - verregneten - Sonntag die Blumen zum Park. Diesmal waren wir im etwas blumenarmen Epcot und so muß man hier alles unter dem erweiterten Blumenbegriff verstehen: Blume ist was ich als Blume identifiziere und heute ist das alles was halbwegs grün aussieht, mitunter sogar echt ist und hin und wieder echte Blüten besitzt.
Deswegen bitte ich darum to not be surprised if we see pomelo trees or plastic boxwood figures ... Other hand, I think flowerbeds with plants that occur only in my latitude as house plants are still very attractive as an exclamation mark after the statement that one is actually "real" in tropical climes is.
was just at this Sansevieria or sheets of hemp plants mentioned, I have a special relationship: When I started in Potsdam study took four months and three moves until I finally got a place in a student village in Griebnitzsee. This room was only at such short notice free, since my previous tenant had died of stomach cancer. She was a very ambitious student and had her stomach pain too long ignored. She left the apartment, so me an Sansevieria in hydroponics and some aloe vera plants in a water bath. I did not particularly Sansevierias, but saw it in my duty to take care of this legacy. So I freed her from the hydro-culture (what the air quality in the area at once greatly improved) and found a small pot of Aloe - plants. Over the years, I thanked both plants, the attention and has been true monster of its kind ... :)
There is still a small, uninspired video see all mini clips that I took in Disneyland, which were not very many (I really need another replacement battery for my camera when I video stuff will do some more serious.) So, a little anticipation of what still is (notice Anand's confession: Minnie is too cute ...:)
